Access Bands - Bring all the Support!!!
We're excited to welcome you to our upcoming Sports Day! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all, parents can pre-purchase access bands (via d6) for all family members at R30 per band (card purchases on the day only). We encourage parents to invite extended family members to support our children on the track and take part in the fun!
For your convenience, additional bands will also be available for purchase at the entrance on the day of the event. However, please note that no band means no access—so be sure to secure yours ahead of time!
It is important to keep your bands safe, as lost bands will be the responsibility of the parents. If a band is misplaced, a new one will need to be purchased.
Gazebo and Tent Setup Guidelines
To make Sports Day enjoyable for everyone, we’ve designated specific areas for setting up your gazebos and tents. Please refer to the picture below to find the designated area (the demarcated area has been specifically chosen so that the facilities irrigation system will not be compromised.
When setting up, we kindly ask that you be considerate of others. Ensure your gazebo or tent does not block the view for other families, so everyone can have a clear sight of the day's exciting events.
We know that parents are excited to watch and support their kids, but we kindly remind you to do so from the designated spectator area. For the safety and enjoyment of all, please refrain from encroaching onto the field.
Please note that the gates will open at 10:30 AM to allow you ample time to set up your space comfortably. Our programme tentatively begins at 12 PM. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a pleasant atmosphere for all!
Celebrating Our Learners!!!
The Redwood Cup is all about celebrating and showcasing the incredible talents of our learners. While this year's theme is The Redwood Cup, it's important to remember that the goal is to let our students shine.
Due to certain logistical factors unique to our school, we may not be able to arrange races in the exact manner we might prefer. However, the day is designed to be filled with fun and school spirit, and we encourage everyone to embrace that.
We kindly ask all parents to respect the decisions made by our judges and accept their calls on race positions. Please remember that this event is for the enjoyment of our learners, and thus, respectfully state that any technical disputes, including the use of video footage to challenge decisions, will not be entertained—just as it wouldn’t be at the Olympics.
Let’s keep the day pleasant, focus on the joy and excitement of the event, and avoid any unpleasantries. We’re here to cheer on our children and make lasting memories together!
